Image view reset on every button click in "Interactive Machine Learning: Image Segmentation"

I’m trying to use the dash app “Interactive Machine Learning: Image Segmentation” from the dash Plotly gallery link, but whenever I zoom in to try to annotate a specific area more carefully, the zoom in is being reset to the original position (no zoom) after clicking any button like the class selection (1-5 buttons) or the show segmentation button.

How can I adjust that app so that it retains the image zoom I used after clicking on these buttons instead of it resetting everything?
